Looks like Mac users are no longer protected by the manna radiated from Steve Jobs smug aura as news comes that a rather nasty piece of malware has been wreaking havoc among Mac users... some of them have even spilled their mochaccinos while twitting about how gosh darn wonderful it is to twit while drinking mochaccinos at their favourite pretentious cafe.
Despite being estimated that around 6% of Macs are infected, some Mac users still refuse to acknowledge that their machines are not made of rainbows and unicorns. They are adamant that no protection is needed with their macs as this piece of malware needs to be installed by the user, little realising that nearly all malware today works that way.
OS X and Mac users are not hardened enough to deal with malware and considering that Apple took over two weeks to even acknowledge that there was a problem, methinks this will turn nasty. I'll go and get some popcorn.
Finally the screams and shouts about Osama Bin Laden's death have quietened down a bit and the number of dubious stories about how Osama had an army of flying monkeys and that he stuffed his underwear with turnips have started to slow down.
Frankly, I do not feel much emotion about the whole thing, but I do find it funny that while the CIA was providing him and his buddies with weapons and training to fight the Russians he was called a 'freedom fighter'. I guess what people call you depends on who you are killing at that time.
Call me cynical, but why do I get the feeling that the man was taken down so as to avoid a messy trial where uncomfortable questions may be raised?
Brink. The much awaited game has finally arrived! Remember how Quake III had that single player mode that was basically the multi-player game but with some dumb bots? Well, Bethesda decided that it was so good that it needed to be revived.... idiots. Mind you, there's nothing to write home about on the proper multi-player mode.
Brink is an appropriate name because you'll be in the brink of throwing your PC out the window when you realise that you've been ripped off.
Back to TF2 and Crysis 2 :/
