First time I finished Dark Souls I vowed to never play it again. It was on of the most draining, addictive and exhausting experiences in gaming I've ever gone through. It left me a wreck.
Fucking ruined every other game too. Everything I played afterwards felt shallow and half-baked. No matter what I played, this little voice at the back of the head kept asking "Are you praising the sun? Is this jolly co-operation?"
Fuck you, Dark Souls. I had to play you again, didn't I?
On my first playthrough, I skipped the Prepare To Die DLC. This time I went full hog. I ripped Manus a second one (after he ripped me one about six times) and rescued Dusk again.
When I wasn't playing, my mind kept on thinking about tactics to beat the next boss and how I was to access new areas. It takes over your head!!
Now I've finished it for the second time and I had to stop myself from going for another round with the new game plus.
I'm playing with a new comic which will hopefully break the mould of previous comics. Now that I've completed Dark Souls, I can concentrate on.... DARK SOULS 2 IS COMING OUT ON PC THE 25th OF APRIL!!!!
