Non-English Music. There's a shitload of it but it just doesn't get the exposure it deserves.
Things are getting a bit better with Korean pop festivals popping up over here and SBS showing Asia Pop on Sunday mornings... but it's Pop. I FUCKING HATE POP!!!!
Anyway, here are some bands that permanently live in my iPod and you may have never heard of:
*The Hot Honey Bunny Stompers (Japan) - Romance Jintan (year?):
[link]*Lupus (Chile) - Voces (2003):
[link]*Кино (USSR) - Кончится лето (1988?):
[link]*Running Potatoes (Argentina) - Te Equivocas (2006):
[link]*Daniel Darc (France) - Un peu c`est tout (year?):
[link]*Ego Wrappin' (Japan) - Darui (2009):
[link]*Sakanaction (Japan) - Aruku Around (2011):
[link]*Papanegro (Chile) - Cortentrete (2003):

Non-English music has pretty much been metal-based; Rammstein is the obvious one, though I've recently been introduced to Dir En Grey and they're not so bad. I'm sure there are others but I can't think of them right now.
And a Bonus!
