Crysis 2+new video card= Very hard to keep up with comic update schedule...

PLaying: Crysis 2
Technically not as advanced as the previous games but artistically superior and more fun to play. It plays just fine at 1920x1080 with a Radeon 6950. Crysis 1 and Warhead still dont. Fuck you Cephs!

Want to play: Alice: Madness Returns
AAAAAAAAAAAAALIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIICE! Fuck I loved the first game back in 2000. This one is looking as dark and twisted as the original one.
Frankly, the game could play like a wet sock and I would still enjoy it because of the artwork.

Will not play: Homefront
Why? Why are Americans so obsessed with getting invaded? Maybe after bombing the shit out of some third world country every six moths they want to play the victim for once?
The premise of Homefront is that the USA is invaded by Korea... KOREA! Yeah.  Okay, so Korea in the game is unified, but that would make the population 75 million. How the fuck do you invade a country with over 307 million?
Don't get me wrong, the South Korean armed forces are very well equipped, and the North Korean army is... um... numerous (although equipped with sticks and stones). But even so, you couldn't even begin to try invading a country the size of half a continent. And besides, why would you invade the USA? Is it because you want the outstanding NY steakhouses? You wanna take a picture with Arnie in California? Or maybe they just want to stop Starbucks from spreading (although they are doing just fine by themselves with that brown water that they try to pass as coffee)?
  • Mood: Pleased
  • Listening to: No FX, Killing Joke, Static-X
  • Playing: Bulletstorm.

Starbucks made such bad coffee, that their store in Rundle Mall (and wherever else they may have been in Adelaide) shut down

As an American i kinda wish we would get invaded, because with all the collateral damage odds are it would help boost the mass employment process with needing so many people to help rebuild cities, giving alot of jobs for something that is actually needed. That is if the forces were repelled. Then again just the notion of a big enough armed force breaking through everything military the US has, it kinda seems like we would have to just get bombed from afar until nothing was left for anything to actually work in beating the US

Yup, there would be no invasion, just a massive nuclear bombing that would end up in mutual destruction for all involved.
The only country with the manpower (although not the equipment...) to invade such a large nation is China, and frankly, even then it would be an extremely costly and pointless task. Besides, China tend to mind it's own business.

And more importantly, its not smart to bomb your cash cow...

Hell, why not do your part and just start bombing your neighbors?

Because im not some pyschopath who goes around killing people for no reason. One of the biggest reason i think alot of these games revolve around america getting invaded is because it would actually justify us fighting

Careful planning, and a bit of luck.

Well, considering that all you need is some guys with a few mules, shovels and homemade explosives to turn an invasion into a bloody hard slog, I beg to differ.
