1) Wikileaks and Julian Assange-
Showing that here in the free, democratic west we are all free to express ourselves as we see fit... as long as we don't threaten those with power and money.
Julian Assange made the terrible mistake in believing that the general public of the western world has the motivation and inquisitiveness to scrutinise the actions and morality of our own governments. We don't. We just live our privileged lives without questioning the cost to others.
Now that those convenient sex charges popped up, I got a feeling that all this will be swept under the rug just like the question "Gee, if Iraq didn't really have weapons of mass destructions, then wasn't the invasion and forced change of government both unethical and illegal?"
2)Back To The Future-
I watched it again after not seeing it for about 10 years.
Yes, along with Ghostbusters, this has got to be one of the greatest movies ever made.
Uncomfortably hot and humid. Only made bearable by girls walking around in tiny, tiny shorts. God bless'em.
Telling the world you have neither taste or penis.
No taste, penis or working brain cells.
